Five members of a family, husband wife and three children died in the early hours at 2 am in a road accident on Warangal highway near Aller last night, miraculously one child survived with a shoulder fracture. According to the family Ghias Ahmed Qureshi aka Gouher a medical practitioner was returning back to Hyderabad from Qazipet after attending a family function there. It seems Ghias Ahmed who was driving a Maruti Alto AP 23 H 8416 lost control while avoiding a pot hole on the road and rammed the vehicle into the adjacent fields unaware of a well there, the car fell in that pit and all the members seated in the car except one child died immediately due to drowning. The child who was thrown out due to impact was miraculously saved by some villagers, is alive. There were others like deceaseda€™s brothers and sisters in other vehicles travelling a little ahead did not know about the accident until they got a call from their nephew the lone survivor. Four bodies were recovered till the evening and rescue teams found fifth body late in the evening. The dead are identified as Ghias Ahmed Qureshi (44) Medical Practioner, Ruqayya Sultana Firdous (36)H/W, Mohammed Abdul Nayeem Qureshi (16) student, Mariya Fatima Qureshi (13 ), student and Aliza Fatima Qureshi (3). Mohammed Abdul Shafi Qureshi got Shoulder injuries and was treated at a Hospital in Hyderabad. Dr Qureshi is son of Dr. Nayeem Qureshi Ex RMO of Golkonda Hospital, Cousin of Wakf Board Chairman Mr. Khusro.
