While filing a chargesheet, CBI has claimed that killing of Madhya Pradesh IPS officer Narendra Kumar is the case of negligence and not murder as driver of the vehicle responsible of officer’s death has nothing to do with any kind of mining mafia.
Chargesheet filed by CBI reads, ‘Manoj Gurjar, driver of the vehicle had nothing to do with any kind of mining mafia. He was taking the stones for his own personal use.’ It is noted that Sub-divisional police officer Narendra Kumar was killed at the time he was trying to stop the tractor loaded with mined stones.
Manoj Gurjar was arrested by Morena police. He pleaded in court by saying that death of IPS officer was an accident and not a pre-planned murder. Father of Kumar, Keshav Dev alleged that his son was murdered as he was taking strong actions against mining mafias.
