On Wednesday, police informed that 18 people
were killed and 10 others were injured when the bus they were travelling
in rolled into a deep gorge in east Jaintia Hills district here early.The Agartala-bound bus was coming from Guwahati, when it fell into a deep gorge at Tongseng village in east Jaintia Hills district early Wednesday, said Superintendent of Police MK Dkhar.
Rescue operations are on. The condition of the injured travelers is reported to be critical.
